Isaac H. Winer is an experienced business lawyer and civil litigator who has practiced law throughout California since 1992. Mr. Winer’s practice encompasses a broad array of substantive areas, including civil litigation and ADR across a broad array of subject matters, business formations, funding and governance, commercial contracts and technology licensing, real property sales and leases, as well as website and internet-related matters. Mr. Winer’s clients have included public and private companies in a variety of fields including software, hardware, life science, internet, telecom and health care. He has also represented start-up ventures, entrepreneurs, executives, professionals, investors and other individuals. All of Mr. Winer’s clients share a common thread – they seek experienced, practical and effective advice in the attentive and cost-efficient manner that Mr. Winer practices law.

Prior to opening his own practice in 2000, Mr. Winer managed the litigation practice of a local business law boutique, where he also gained significant experience in transactional and corporate matters ranging from business formations to IP licensing. Mr. Winer also served as corporate counsel at Cypress Semiconductor Corporation, a $4 billion publicly traded company headquartered in Silicon Valley with 5,000 employees worldwide. At Cypress, Mr. Winer served as a business law generalist, handling a wide range of transactional, IP, corporate and dispute management matters. Prior to working in Silicon Valley, Mr. Winer served as an associate litigation attorney in two large West Coast law firms based in Los Angeles and a boutique firm in the Bay Area. As a litigator, Isaac's practice focused on complex business litigation in a broad array of disputes involving issues of contract, tort, real estate, intellectual property and other areas of law.

Mr. Winer earned his undergraduate degree in 1989 from Stanford University where he graduated with distinction and Phi Beta Kappa honors. He received his law degree from U.C.L.A. School of Law in 1992 where he received an American Jurisprudence Prize Award. Mr. Winer served as an extern to the Hon. William A. Ingram, Chief Judge of the United State District Court for the Northern District of California located in San Jose, California.

Mr. Winer resides in Palo Alto, California with his wife and two children. He is an active member of the local community, where he volunteers his time for charitable and social organizations, and enjoys coaching his children’s sports teams.
